According to the latest Sony Rumors, a new Sony Lens to be Announced on March 22, 2022. It seems that we are close to the announcement for the Sony FE 24-70mm F2.8 GM II and FE 85mm F1.2 GM Lens.
These two are the most rumored glass for Sony E-mount. Even the leading candidates are Sony “FE 24-70mm F2.8 GM II” or “FE 85mm F1.2 GM“, it is highly likely that it will be the FE 85mm f/1.2 GM lens.
The details of the FE 85mm F1.2 GM lens are unknown, but this Sony FE 85mm f/1.2 GM lens is expected to be more compact in size, just like the FE 50mm f/1.2 GM lens. By the way the US price for FE 85mm f/1.2 GM lens will probably be over $2,000.
As mentioned earlier, Sony ZV-style cameras and the a7R V and a9 III will be available later this year.
