Sony is rumored to announce a new APS-C camera with a back-illuminated stacked sensor like the Fujifilm X-H2S.
Photorumors is reporting that Sony is rumored to announce a new APS-C ILCE camera that will have a BSI stacked sensor. The camera is rumored to have five-axis stabilization combined with crop-free 4K/60fps video recording and be part of the ZV product line (ZV-1, ZV-10).
The rumor mill claims that this new camera will be one of the best APS-C video mirrorless cameras available on the market based on specifications. Good to see many companies are coming back to the APS-C format. Stay tuned for additional information.
I do hope the next batch include an APS-C with backlit stacked sensor.
However, it should be a Baby A9 for amateur sports and wildlife fanatics. Coupled with the 70-300 (ie 1-5-450) glass this would be an unbeatable price combo and I suspect pros would use these as B cams. I certainly.
please don’t make it yet another vlogging cam – there are loads of those.
