Sony launched a new teaser for the upcoming camera that will be in cinema line. As our previous reports we know that this camera will be the Sony FX30 and announcement will happen on September 28th.

Sony FX30 will be an APS-C E-mount Cinema camera and offer a 26MP APS-C sensor. The current information we have is that the Sony FX30 body structure will have a very similar design to the previously released Sony FX3 (Adorama | B&H | Amazon).

Rumored  Sony FX30 Specs

  • 26MP APS-C Sensor (Same sensor as Fujifilm X-H2S ?)
  • 4K Video at 120p
  • Same FX3 video specs
  • Same FX3 body design
  • Rumored price: Around $2,500
  • Announcement in later September

The Sony FX3 is Sony’s most compact and lightweight Cinema Line camera that is ideal for handheld shooting, gimbal and drone-mounted work, and it bridges the gap between the portability of the a7S III and the capability of the FX6.

The FX3 powered by the well-known Sony NPFZ 100 batteries used on cameras like the A7 IIIA7R IIIAlpha a6600, and A9 II.
