Sony a7 IV is the Best Selling in the Second Half of February 2022. CAPA CAMERA WEB posted the best selling products of Yodobashi Camera’s interchangeable lens digital cameras in the second half of February 2022.

Sony a7 IV Body (Amazon, B&H, Adorama) wins the top 1 position, followed by  Nikon Z9 (Amazon).

The 1st place Sony a7 IV first appeared in the second half of December 2021 and won the top position, but it gradually dropped in the ranking due to supply shortage, and finally it was an unfavorable model that was out of the rank. This time, it returned to the top for the first time in two months. Sony has not completely recovered from the supply shortage, but it seems that it has entered a counterattack system.

Nikon Z9 won the championship two times before and the last time in a row due to a shortage of supply, but finally retreated to second place and surrendered the top position to the Sony a7 IV.

The 5th place Canon EOS R3 ranked in the highest rank of the Canon group. This is also in the top 10 since the second half of December 2021 due to supply shortage. For Canons, the point to watch in the future is whether or not they can break into the higher ranks.

Sony a7 IV, which was not ranked last time, has returned to No. 1 this time, and there is only the latest model of the popular A7 unbranded series, so if it arrives, it will be No. 1. Sony’s striking point is that the α7 III is doing a great job in place of the α7C, whose orders have been suspended.

For Nikon, Nikon Z9 was in second place and did not reach the V3, but it is amazing that expensive professional machines have been ranked high since their launch. For Canon,  EOS R3 has been ranked in for the first time in a long time, but since Canon EOS R3 is still announced as “waiting for half a year”, it seems that the supply shortage will not be resolved yet.
